Gov. Gray Davis' labor contract with one of his re-election campaign's biggest financial boosters -- the state's prison guards -- came under renewed fire Friday as a legislative subcommittee questioned the man whose office negotiated it.
Marty Morgenstern, director of the state Department of Personnel Administration, said he was "personally exercised" over an analysis of the contract he called highly misleading.
