Oracle, Arun Baheti, et al.
Liz, Grampa Dave, and those still interested in Global Double Crossing-- especially interesting is item #13-- Accenture-formerly Arthur Andersen Consulting???
Want to wager that e-director Baheti may have picked up a couple of other checks for the campaign?
CENTER FOR PUBLIC INTEGRITY REPORT:
"In August 2000, Andersen Consulting, a division of Andersen Worldwide, formally split from Arthur Andersen, the more traditional auditing and accounting component of the firm. After arbitration, Andersen Consulting changed its name to Accenture, a change it made in January 2001. Accenture became a publicly traded company four months later."
I would love to have Arun Baheti strapped down on an OR table and giving him Versed IV Infusion with a couple of cam recorders going.
In about an hour we might know how Davis's campaign war chest got so big.
Great point! Let's see if copies of such a TY note or memo to send one pop up and see how Davis wiggles out of it.
Here's one obvious one and has probably been done already, although I haven't seen it.
To get a 3 sticker printout go here
Thanks, Dave!
Just click on the link above and the page with 3 stickers should open up in Adobe Acrobat. If it doesn't, go to Adobe.com and download the free Acrobat reader. It self-installs and is probably already on your computer.
Click on file/print. The page will print out and you can cut it into 3 bumper stickers with scissors or a paper cutter.
Simon spoke at a news conference following his remarks at a Bloomberg conference in San Francisco. His remarks were prompted by today's San Jose Mercury News report that the Legislative Audit Committee investigating the Oracle contract has been hampered by the efforts of the governor's office itself. Last week Simon released a statement to the media calling on the governor to cooperate with the investigation. "Last week I called for a full and fair investigation into this suspicious contract and how it was arranged," said Simon. "Instead of cooperating, it appears the governor is trying to squash the investigation." Simon demanded the following:
- Susan Kennedy and other aides should testify under oath as to her knowledge and involvement. - Susan Kennedy should release her calendar as it relates to any meetings she attended with Oracle or their representatives.
- The governor needs to release his fundraising schedule, particularly as it may relate to meetings he may have had with Oracle representatives.
"We can't lose sight of the fact that this administration's incompetence - or worse - wasted millions of taxpayer dollars," said Simon.
"When this governor squashes the investigation, what he's really doing is squashing the taxpayer." ### __________________________ BILL SIMON FOR GOVERNOR 770 L STREET, SUITE 1110 SACRAMENTO, CA 95814 http://www.SimonForGovernor.Com ====================================================================== This email was sent by the Bill Simon for Governor email alert
We, also, need to know about stealth offices set up by Whoreacle to do expensive computer data base work for Davis's reelection on Whoreacle's dime, using their data base people, computers and Whoreacle office space. I bet that this has been done for over a year. It is an old trick by NE companies to get into grace with powerful Rat senators.
Good find Howie! Freepers are great!
The school was in Bessemer, Alabama, and they had to fire teachers to make up for their budget shortfall after popping for Oracle's big-ticket price.
They paid only $50,000 for the system that replaced Oracle, too...
