Grampa Dave -- Someone identified an article you posted last August on this fiasco.

I was going to bump it into the current Calgov2002 list since it had some nice detail. But the older threads can't be touched for updates. We ought to do something!

Here it is:

Thanks for the ping and the find.

Good thing that sharp freeper found this last August, oops that was old/odd Grampa Dave.

This is what really angers me about the pressitutes in Kali. If this had been done by republicans with a republican governor, it would have been all over the news each day in the fish wraps and each evening in the evening news.

Since it was about Rats, it was buried.

Noam did some good reporting on the power fiasco last year. I tried to get him to follow up on the water flows and he didn't have the time or inclination to follow up. He is not a friend of Benito II, Davis.

The current CalGov2002 list has gotten about 200 listings since it began March 12, 2002. The maximum preferences setting is to show 250 articles. At the rate news is generated (mostly) about Davis, we will start to push the older articles off the viewable list in one or two weeks.

The old CalGov2002 list stopped getting new listings when the new bump list was created by editing the old bump list, so I thought that perhaps a new, third CalGov2002 list should be similarly created soon so that it will still be easy to find articles related to this election, at least until November, without having a cumbersome listing of a thousand threads. It's also nice to segregate the high volume of gubernatorial election stuff away from the other CA state news.

The bump list register page says that bump lists are being phased out and are locked in favor of the topics system. Does anyone have a good solution?
