I thought the Republican party was the party of smaller government. I thought they were going to cut spending and reduce government. This is pure political pandering plain and simple. Buying future votes and campaign contributions with taxpayers' money. It's wealth redistribution. It's socialism. It's destroying the farming industry in this country.

Good grief - just a few short years ago, all the talk was about getting the farms OFF the government dole ----

I guess the budget woes are not real - the fed has all the money it needs and is looking for places to well spend our money!</sarcasm off>
