My vote is to send Janet Reno and the ATF to Arafat's compound to "smoke him out"...

"I think what the U.S. probably seeks right now ... is an extended cease-fire so they can get on the job of finishing Saddam Hussein before he acquires atomic bombs, a notable and important goal worthy of support without a doubt. But it cannot be achieved by sacrificing these principles that are at the core, the heart of this effort," Netanyahu said.Because Arafat is purposely inflaming the region for his buddy Saddam. We can't take out Saddam without Arafat gone, and we can't take out Arafat without Saddam gone. And we definitely can't take them both out at once.
If the US is ready to attack Iraq, Israel should suck it up for the next few months. If not, Arafat should be removed first.

If Powell goes ahead and meets with Arafat, now that he and the entire administration know just what he is and what he stands for, the Lord can and WILL withdraw His support for the USA, take his hand away that has been sheltering us, and allow the USA to pay an awful price for this crowning act of disloyalty to God. Powell himself may not escape unharmed.
If Israel wished to spare us poor, helpless American people from the wrath of God we shall suffer THIS year from this Powell/Arafat meeting, it could perhaps try to take one or both out to prevent such an occurrence, but you know what the Left would say, and for that we will probably all be paying a nuclear price very soon.

Speaking in Cairo, Secretary of State Colin Powell, who arrives in Israel Thursday, said he would meet Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, who has been under Israeli siege in his compound.
But Netanyahu, who called Arafat a terrorist, doubted such a meeting could yield results.
"I don't think any meeting with Arafat will produce anything. His word is worthless, his signature is worthless, he's violated every single line of every single item of every single provision of every single contract he's signed with us.
No deals with Palestine until they rid themselves of Arafat. And of course Israel should continue to seek out and destroy Hamas and other terrorist groups.

I have just started reading this man's book, "A Durable Peace". I am blown away by his knowledge. We had better listen to him.

The Palestinians are unable to rid themselves of Arafat for the same reason that Iraqis are unable to rid themselves of Saddam Hussein - that is, anyone who opposes the regime is tortured and murdered, often in public. Such is the nature of a dictatorship. Such is the reason that the Israelis must do this for them, and we must do the same for the people of Iraq.
