All you people coming late to the thread should read up. I have adresses this "share the wealth" bit much earlier. It was intended as "share the opportunity for wealth". Not as any kind of free for all.

Oh, I misunderstood. I thought you were in favor of "sharing the wealth" with all those thousands and thousands of immigrants who can't find "opportunity" because the supply of labor has outstripped the demand.

And as for doing your part with your taxes, kinda cheap for a "successful" person, doncha think? You could probably help an entire family with their rent - why don't you?

And just why do you get to say what my taxes go to? And has anyone noticed that pauly is admitting with this tax arguement that immigrants are direct beneficiaries of our tax system? Funny, I've been told they all worked and were a plus for our economic system...they're not?

I know, and I still disagree. America has an economy that can only hanlde so much influx of non-productive people. If they can't make it work in Mexico, one of the most resource rich countries in the world, then why should we allow them to degrade our standard of living?

America is MUCH more than just a paycheck as you think it is. You insult us as a nation.
