I wonder what the criteria for success of these programs will be. Many cultures have assimilated into American culture, but it seems many in the black community don't want to be part of American culture. Sadly this liberal approach will fail the kids and they will contiune to fall behind those who accept America as their home and adopt the American culture. Until they stop preceiving themselves as victims, blacks society in general will remain dependent on the government to prop them up economically. If you learn in this country and are willing to work hard it is almost impossible to not achieve a reasonable level of economic success. If you look for handouts you will always be looking for handouts.
