Grey-out Davis is a dim bulb. He seems to missing something between his ears. Aren't Californians tired of paying for Davis' screw-ups?

California's Al Gore is simply seeking to neutralize his negative image through a little contrived humility
Gore beat Dubya by 12 points in California in 2000.
If Davis is a Gore and Simon is a Dubya, who wins California this fall and by how many points.
To: JeanS
Wow, where do you begin with a liberal loser like Davis?
He is a liar, and he couldn't govern an ant-farm without losing millions of dollars.
He is the worst governor in Californias' history, and that's saying a lot when you consider we had Pat and Jerry Brown take their turns trying to ruin us.
I pray to the good Lord that he is retired this year and NEVER returns to politics again.
Besides, he was only elected because of voter fraud just like all the rest of the democrats here.

If Davis is a Gore and Simon is a Dubya, who wins California this fall and by how many points. A major difference is that Gore was never less than 50% approval with his base during the election... Grayout Davis has been below 50% with those who should be his most ardent supporters for quite a while.
To: JeanS
Good news! Iam glad that Simon is not taking the bait about abortion, and Affirmative Action, they are loser issues this election year.
To: stimulate
When asked about abortion, Simon looks like a coward every time he changes the subject (which is what he does). In the long run, it won't work because it looks like a character flaw and breeds the sense that he may not be so honest and forthright as he appears. Simon can't afford to lose that squeaky clean image. It is his greatest asset.

Davis will try to buy or bully his base. He is totally craven and cares not a whit what happens later. The degree to which he will sell out this State in the process will be scary. If he loses, watch him poison the well as he leaves.
Bubba did the same thing.

I'm not asking people to marry me Well good because the answer would be no, on both counts.
To: Carry_Okie
If he loses, watch him poison the well as he leaves.Yup. BUMP.
To: JeanS
Governor Gray Davis a walking, talking political disaster. He's a Typhoid Mary to Al Gore's Common Cold.
To: Carry_Okie; Ernest_at_the_Beach
Yes, I(Davis) am a loser, but at least I am competent...I love the image, but Carry is right, he would poison the well and not care how many people he hurts. If poisoning the well will buy him until after the election to deal with major state financial problems he would do that as well. To Davis, it is all politics, he doesn't care about his responsibility to the people of California.
