Wow! The rich and powerful are rich and powerful!

Amazing isn't it? I thought Democrats were for the little guy though. (/sarcasm)
To: farmfriend
C'mon, the Reps and Dems are like football teams--you put all your big guys up front. The little guys sit in the stands and watch the game.

1) If it's only the rich and powerful who get appointed to the board of regents, why is it that every time I think I'm writing a check to the university, I have to make it out to "UC Regents"? Don't they have enough money?
2) I wonder if these Davis appointees are behind the recent proposals to stop judging potential students for admission on the basis of their high school grades and to stop using the SAT? Some commitment to education...

Reply to post #1: This proves one thing never changes, bolsheviks beget bolsheviks. This marxist malignancy, is in charge of "educating" our children, so is it no wonder that the graduates of our universities are nothing more than glorified young pioneers, dedicated to the destruction of our Republic, our culture, and our liberty, and replacing them with a soviet American state.

I've built a ping list of freeper's mostly in California that have commented on threads indexed by Calgov2002.
I'll throw that up here and see if anyone else wants on or off! Once it settles out we should share it among the more active followers of the election related postings!

ChiFi's hubby, the strike it rich guy with massive investments in ChiCom Land is a big donor to Fascist Davis. Gee what a surprise.
Wonder how many of these Rats are involved in companies like Double Crossing or have financial ties to the ChiComs?

Just who bent 'Uncle Gray's' arm to appoint Haim Saban to the UC Board of Regents?
Saban meets Clinton in LA
"During Clinton's visit to Los Angeles, he was met by Haim Saban, an Israeli TV producer and supporter of the Democratic Party. Speaking to the Yediot Ahronot daily this week, Saban quoted Clinton as saying he felt he had to send a message to Netanyahu by refusing to meet him
White House spokesman Mike McCurry, however, said no snub had been intended.
Nevertheless, Netanyahu's senior adviser, David Bar-Illan, said Thursday that Israelis understood the message sent by the lack of any meeting.
"Netanyahu and Clinton were in Los Angeles at the same time, and Clinton didn't find time to shake hands, say hello and meet over a cup of coffee, which would have been possible with his schedule," Bar-Illan told The Associated Press."
*****
I believe Haim Saban and Walter Kaye earlier met with Clinton and Algore for coffee in the White House in September of 1995.
