Amnesty is the bad part, and Bush should stop playing games with our Homeland Defense.
If he wants to push Amnesty, let him do so in broad daylight.
Amnesty won't harm our homeland defense. It will harm the rule of law. It is an unnecessary compromise. Personally I think that it might be a sign of how worried the Bush team is about the upcoming elections. They are doing a lot of bad things now, just to attract 1 or 2 percent of the rat vote. (which could be a big deal in an election.) Rush talked about this yesterday. He said Bush should use his high approval ratings to explain the conservative position to the voters. Instead he is trying to steal rat issues.
