It doesn't take federal funding to make it easier for wetbacks to cross the border...does it?

You misunderstand the story. The funding is not to help illegals. It's to make it easier and quicker legal border crossings. Keep in mind that every day tens of thousands of people legally cross the border. Bush just wants to upgrade our border facilities so that we can provide better service and security. If anything this will make it harder for smugglers to sneek people across the border.

Most for frivolous reasons too. They come over to take their kids to American schools for free, they come over to take jobs, they come over to use our hospitals free. We should put the Walmarts and Sam's over in Mexico, let Mexicans build their own schools and hospitals, and have much less border traffic so we can really have some security. There's no security in having millions of people able to cross in less than 5 minutes.

"Never mind."
