Right, I know that...we should be banging the heads of the RINO's that let this even GET to the President. But...something in the 2nd part of his statement has got me thinking. You know that feeling when you're trying to come up with a word and it's right on the tip of your tongue but you still are stumped? That's where I am. Taps fingers....;-)

Can Ashcroft do anything? Heck, Reno re-wrote the law so much it read "kill Christians through the power of the ATF".

"Like many Republicans and Democrats in the Congress, I support common-sense reforms to end abuses in our campaign finance system. The reforms passed today, while flawed in some areas, still improve the current system overall, and I will sign them into law.
The legislation makes some important progress on the timeliness of disclosure, individual contribution limits, and banning soft money from corporations and labor unions, but it does present some legitimate constitutional questions. I continue to believe the best reform is full and timely disclosure of campaign contributions."

Now, I wonder what would be disclosed??? Enron? Global Crossing? Cuba? China? NAACP tax exempt? NEA tax exempt? ALL TAX EXEMPT MUST BE NOTED?
