On the eve of his trip to Mexico, Peru and El Salvador, President Bush promised initiatives to ease the plight of would-be illegal immigrants, saying, "There are people in our neighborhood who hurt."

INCREDIBLE. Bush truly is a Liberal. A Liberal that cares more about the welfare of Illegal Aliens than he does for the Citizens of America that he supposed to represent and defend. The nightmare continues.

In the Washinton Times today:
"One Senate Republican aide said their office had been flooded with calls against the president's proposal, with none favoring it.
Nevertheless, the White House continued to push for the bill yesterday, with Mr. Bush emphasizing that it also "enhances our border security."

It is obvious from the above that Bush could care less what the American public has to say on this subject. I never thought I would ever regret voting for a Republican but the day has come.
