Correctional officers and teachers topped all legislative campaign contributors during the past election cycle, and they have since scored several key victories at the state Capitol, according to a California Common Cause report released Monday.
The California Correctional Peace Officers Association gave state legislative candidates a record $2.3 million over the 1999-2000 election year, according to the report, which ranked the top 10 contributors.

I am so radical that I think Govt employees shouldnt be able to lobby or contribute at all...silly meeeeeee
