While I'll stand by my general comment about the level of feminine pulchritude in
the west of England, I will make this observation.
It appeared to me that some of the ladies were going out of their way to look
"doudy" or just to look less attractive on purpose.

I suppose it could be just a cultural thing, thinking that wasting money and time on
cosmetics and hairdos was silly...or it's a strategy to make sure that the males
they do attract aren't just pulled in by their looks.

Hey...maybe this means I'm a shallower male than I thought!

But the ladies of England must have something going on...how else do you get enough
bodies to feed the sad meat-grinder of two World Wars and spin off enough
bodies to take over territories of Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and the USA?
