Did someone snitch on you?

When I first moved to CA, I kept my
car registered in TX for two years.
Never got caught and never did pay
the outrageous $300 smog fee (later ruled
unconstitutional) or the $250
more in annual tag fees they wanted.
Texas was more'n happy to mail
my renewal notice to me in CA.

This whole budget fiasco was so predictable when
Dimbulb and the Dumocrats embarked on their
wild 3 year spending spree.

Did someone snitch on you?

The Highway Patrol checked out my RV park several times a week (unknown to me until I got caught) for out of state workers and vehicles. The next year, I parked on a friends farm and no problem (not even when I dug my own septic system).

What really annoyed me is they sent a letter to the RV park. They could have talked to me or put the notice on my trailer. I didn't get mail at the camp and could very well have pulled out and ended up with a warrant on me I wouldn't know about until pulled over years later.

When I was LEAVING California I registered my cars in Wisconsin for three months as my registration was due. I saved $800 dollars that way.
