Attorney General John D. Ashcroft also asked Congress on Friday to give him back authority to fire INS employees for violating Justice Department rules. That power was not included in the current budget proposal.

Gee Bill did you overlook this blurb? Oh that right I forgot that get's in the way of your rants, never mind.

Don't go so hard on him - Most Americans look to the Executive as being the most powerful Federal branch of government. After all, none of us are taught any better by our corrupt, failed "skule" system.

If we can't get the Congress to shape the government up, we're doomed. (I must have a BIG raincloud over my head right now or something. Or maybe I'm just depressed just THINKING about how corrupt and inept our Congress has become. I don't see any end in sight to the COMMUNIST policies we've had in our Federal government, and it's certainly been going on longer than I've been around.... *sigh*)

:( ttt

Naw, I didn't miss it Dane. Why would I believe him. He's a guy that still wants Arthur Andersen to do the FBI review. LOL! But I'm sure he'll be pressed to change his mind.
