I love the allusion to Capt. Queeg. That fits Davis perfectly. He is borderline loony, a control-freak, a corrupt governor who spends more time fundraising and shaking down businesses than PREVENTING crises from becoming crises.

He cost taxpayers BILLIONS of dollars over the next decade because of his inaction, delay and panic. Had he acted when the first sign of an energy problem existed, our CHILDREN would not be shouldering this debt!

I was IN Vietnam, three tours, and this is nothing like it. Hunkered down in a bunker???? He must have been an admin officer.
