He could take martial arts as well; not a specific kind, but a combination of ground fighting, kick-boxing, and weapons, from various disciplines. The b@st@rd who messes with him after he's become an expert will not know quite what hit him after he (the b@st@rd, that is) awakens from his coma...in traction. );-)

Jujitsu.... I tried it once and liked it, but I had doubts as to how effective it could be against someone stronger then I was/am.
