Yes, it is encouraging. What do you thing the dynamics would be if the democrats split up into several parties, say commies, socialists, greens, progressives, populists, etc, and the republicans split into paleos, neos, religious, protectionists, fiscals, or whatever? And after the first nutcase like Nader or Perot is elected with 30% of the vote, how long will it take for the various factions to recombine into two opposing groups?
