I believe that President Bush knows very well that the criminals [As often as not, by the way, "former 'DemocRATs'"] need rooting out FRom the Republican Party too.

But isn't helping to cover up MURDER and TREASON by democRATS (and that is EXACTLY what he is doing by not investigating the many crimes) turning him into a criminal TOO? He took an OATH to uphold the law. Is he becoming an oath breaker? Is this the first step in becoming like Clinton?

You suggested that the reason he isn't going after the democRATS is because the information in the FBI files the democRATS took is so damaging it would destroy the Republican party. If that is true, and Bush is as honest as you want us to believe, why would he want those people in the Republican party anyway? You can't have it both ways. He should go after the democRATS and let the criminal republicans be exposed. It would be good for BOTH parties and the country. Ignoring MURDER by elected officials is NOT. It is the road to tyranny.

And that the only way to do that is to: [1] hold on to the House and to regain the Senate and;

Wrong. We ALREADY saw what happens when the Republicans control BOTH the House and the Senate. NOTHING. NOTHING AT ALL. ALL that matters ... and the democRATS learned this lesson ... is who controls the Executive Branch. Congress is POWERLESS to stop or clean up criminal activity by the Executive branch, especially with a compliant media. We saw that to be true for 8 long years. Winning back the Senate won't make one bit of difference when it comes to cleaning out the CRIMINALS that now infest our government and, apparently, BOTH parties.

The ONLY way to do it is to use the law enforcement bodies of the Executive Branch and the DOJ to INVESTIGATE and PROSECUTE those criminals. Neither Congress or the media can stop that from happening if Bush wants it to happen. And the public will base their decision about who deserves to be in power on the outcome of those investigations. As it now stands, the GOP risks loosing a large part of its base because its base is starting to wonder whether when it comes to upholding the law the GOP is any different than the democRAT party.

Or we can follow Canada's example and so split the Conservative Movement as to ensure the total and permenant domination of every aspect of American life by the vast criminal enterprises of which the Rotten-KKKli'toons were momentarily the frontspiece.

Surely you are not suggesting that a large portion of the conservative movement wants the GOP to ignore crimes like murder and treason, just to stay in power. That doesn't sound like a "conservative movement". Surely you are not suggesting that a large fraction of the Republican voters want republicans to act just like democrats?

I tell you what. Why not ASK registered Republicans if they want their leadership to ignore serious crimes by democRATS on the PERHAPS mistaken belief that doing so will help them remain in power longer? The RNC could do that if they wanted to. I bet most would support my point of view.

I am reporting that a large FRaction of Republicans act just like "Democrats" -- because that is what they are -- or like "libertarians" which, sadly, is effectively the same thing.

And I am suggesting that the way you are promoting as the only way to rid the Repubican Party of "DemocRATs" and other RINOs -- and to set it apart FRom the "DemocRATs" -- will throw out the baby with the bath water and will deliver US into the hands of the totalitarians.

For ever.

Are you a DNC plant?
