I have one problem with Medved - his sexist views - but that's about it. The guy is as bright and articulate as they come...but it seems that in his world, women are just not quite as good as men.
His rabbi, Daniel Lapin, strikes me much the same way.
You don't think that is just jive? His wife is a shrink. If he was sexist with her, I suspect she would cut off his balls. After hearing her on the radio in fact, I don't have any doubt about it.
It is interesting though. Medved is really to the right of me on many issues now, although he came from the left, and I from the gentile moderate right. I would love to have dinner with him sometime. We have a common cultural language, but are ships that passed in the night.
