Did you see the quote that went something like this:
Those people don't want to speek english. They want to use their language on their signs and they are taking over. They don't respect our customs and they have exported their customs to America. We have to do something to stop them before we loose the country to them.
It was a quote by Thomas Jefferson (I Think) about the Germans in Pennsylvania in 1781 ! I may be off on the date and the exact quote but it is close enough.
Looks like not too much has changed :)
