INS is in such a mess, there is no way to locate them. Let them stay, overhaul INS & immigration laws. I just hope they all will adopt Americanism like our ancestors did.

I can even see letting them stay ---- and stay illegal which is the choice they themselves made in the first place. Making them legal qualifies them for welfare, food stamps and all sorts of government handout programs if they decide working for low wages is no longer their cup of tea -----which is exactly what many will decide. I see no reason to hand them rights when they already had the right to apply for legal immigration just like all the legal immigrants have done.

What amnesty does is makes them our permanent responsibility, they cannot be deported in the future no matter what they do. And it invites many more to follow in their stepfoots expecting the same to be done for them in some near future.

Ditto that. We have to defeat the damn dems first. Otherwise, they'll ensure the leanings of Latinos will be to the left, as they have other ethnicities arriving in this country off balance, as all immigrants initially have. Demonize whites and the system and voila! Justification to accept freebies from the government, from those of us required to pay in to the system to make it work. It isn't only a Latin American quality to accept a free ride. It's human nature. And it's indoctrinated into people by our friendly Democrats for their nefarious (sarcasm) purposes. This is exactly why good parents require their children to make their own way in the world after a certain age (as birds require their young to fly and move on). Doing otherwise means they will perhaps forever remain dependent on others for their survival. Imagine if dems managed sway enough people. America would fall utterly in a few short decades, and even dems would be shocked at the consequence and their own fall from power.
