True ... but it sounds like Rummy sent a VERY clear message that the dems are playing a dangerous game with American Lives
Yes, but what Rumsfeld says and what Bush DOES are two entirely different things. I'm gradually losing faith in Bush.... prescription drug plan, no school choice, campaign finance reform(probably), environmental caving-in, a bogus stimulus bill, The Freedom Corps, airport security, amnesty for illegal aliens, yada yada yada the list goes on.
If you honestly think that Bush will call a demonRAT out on the carpet then you're fooling yourself. Sorry.
Democrats sneer at American lives.
Yes, and I personally wouldn't rule out the possibility that this 'top secret report' was planted by the Pentagon as a means to expose/embarrass/make a point or even to test the -- shall we say -- disinformation waters that were disavowed a couple of weeks before? DRum said that they wouldn't lie to the press, but if my theory is right, it still doesn't constitute a lie: it's entrapment on material that wasn't released.
BEYOND THAT, HOWEVER, I'd love to see a test case before the US Supreme Court on the subject of which has greater weight of law: freedom of the press or exposing national security secrets.
