Sorry, but it only seems appropriate to include the link to Cato's Social Security Privitization Website.

I am sure that many FREEPERs have been to this site, but if you haven't, then check it out. After reading the information found there, no SANE person could possibly support the social security program as it is.

Freepers generally understand that the Social Security unTrustworthy Fundless is nothing but smoke and mirrors.

Without real bricks-and-mortar investment in the real economy, it is impossible to prepare for the future; any plan based on drawing on a "fund" of government debt instruments is a plan for government taxation or bond-issue borrowing. Consequently the Social Security unTrustworthy Fundlessis nothing but a stagflation dagger at the throat of our children's and grandchildren's prosperity.
