You local hospitals and / or other blood and plazma organizations will happily collect your blood. Id the blood later goes to the Red Cross, so be it. They will be making more deliveries with less compensation.

I pass by the Red Cross on the way home, and see their signs begging for donations. I keep right on going - we also have the Southeastern Community Blood Centers.

Rather than enhance the commie/red cross, get paid for your blood and make a donation to a respectable charity OR FREEREPUBLIC.
