Can you imagine the misery this poor human soul must be going through. How many times has he asked, where are my countrymen? My heart breaks for him.

Indeed, my heart breaks for his family, do they send out a soldier to tell that family that their husband/dad/son has changed status? Isn't that the real cruelty of this situation?

On another note the timing of this is awful...but maybe that office of misinformation hasn't been closed(did they really have to open one, come on this is war)

If I am not mistaken, and this is the pilot from NAS Cecil Field in Jacksonville, Florida, his wife has remarried. Can you imagine the conflicted emotions this poor woman must feel right now.
