Illegal Mexicans add great economic benefit to this
country. If the INS were allowed to they could shut down
the borders. The INS shut down the packing plants here in
Nebraska just by camping out at the plants checking
status. A couple a weeks of that drove the price of
cattle so low the farmers threw a fit and got the INS to back off.
Be careful what you wish for.

It's a false economy. There are so many costs associated with tolerating a massive and growing illegal population that it's destroying the country.

Be careful what you wish for. Yeah, brer rabbit, sure; I won't throw you in those thorn bushes. Nah.
Just think of all the horrible things that could happen: businesses having to pay people a decent wage, or to look for more effecient ways of getting work done with fewer employees via automation. Why, we might have a self-sufficient America, with full employment (real full employment, without resorting to bogus government statistics).
Yikes! We can't have that! Open the borders, boys! Farmer John needs his crops harvested, we need vegies to be 10 cents cheaper (and never mind our taxes going to farm subsidies).
Clearly we can't have someone deciding our national policy based on our national interest, rather than based upon the private self-interest of a few. Horrors!

So we wink and nod and then expect our children to show respect for our laws and our institutions?
If they really are necessary, then have a program that enables them to be here LEGALLY; not play this stupid game.

I guess as long as you have your steak you will put up with insults, a different language, religion, laws etc. Eventually at the present rate you will be an alien in your own country. But at least you will have your steak-for a while.
