This leak was good strategy.

I would agree it is good for those targeted to know that they are. That should be public information. I still maintain, however, that releasing classified information ought to involve hard time.

Perhaps this is a masterful "two-fer" strategery, in which we get the information out AND determine who the leakers are. Bonus points if the leaker can be charged with releasing classified information in time of war, a very big federal felony.
