They live 10 or 12 to small apartments or trailers, and they know that welfare will take care of their emergencies and/or supplement their low-wage jobs, if needed. They invite their aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews (by the hundreds) ~ not to mention friends (by the hundreds) ~ to join them here (also illegally) and have cheered for those who "made it" across the border after 9/11. To add insult to injury Bush on the eve of his UN trip to Mexico "promised initiatives to ease the plight of would-be illegal immigrants", saying, "There are people in our neighborhood who hurt". Looks like America has its first Mexican President. The guy is a disgrace.
The Republican Party has sold us (Conservatives) down the river in Illinois, maybe even nation wide.
