Congressman Van Hilleary was just on talk radio here in east Tennessee. The very first question the host asked him was in regards to the amnesty vote. The host asked him how he had voted on the issue. Hilleary stated that he had "been unable to vote", but if he had been there, he would have voted "NO". He admitted during the course of the interview that he was in Washington. Yet he couldn't get to the capitol to vote last night? If you had voted "NO", Van, the bill would have FAILED! Do I understand that properly? If there had been ONE MORE "NO" VOTE, this amnesty bill would NOT have passed? I want confirmation on this, before I go off on this radio host for not following up on this with Hilleary. By the way; Hilleary is running for governor of Tennessee, and probably does not want conservatives to find out that he "allowed" this bill to pass.
