"concerned about politics", reminded me of the Salvation Army and that is who will get my donations, I think we still need a charity big enough to be able to be on the scene quickly in floods and natural disasters. They are not political and their only agenda is to help.

That, Help Hospitalised Veterans, The Boy Scouts, the local Rescue Mission, and Feed the Children get whatever $ I can spare (which is damn few, after a week's stay in the hospital last month and cataract surgery in December).
