I hate to end up sounding inflammatory, but I simply am at a loss to understand this guy's obsession. We are fighting a war. American guys are going up against fanatical committed fighters right now as we speak. What does he mean, "respect"? I have respect for Navy SEAL Neal Roberts, R.I.P.
For some illegal, living off California Welfare and laughing while he commits crimes? Zero.
How the hell are we supposed to summon "respect" for the citizens of another country who have shown utter contempt for ours, leading to the conditions where immigration fraud is so overwhelmingly prevalent that anyone can - and does - romp through our land doing anything they please? It is exactly this lawlessness that lead to 911.
Note that no one is calling it anything but Amnesty. No more subterfuge. No more eupehmisms. Amnesty. A free ride for foreigners who break our laws, commit crimes, do anything they want. No record, no penalty, just a ticket in to the one country on Earth that 6 billion other people would like to come to.
I am just stunned. This is worse than Clinton. At least Clinton had to hold back for fear of Republican opposition. Now we're fighting our own guy. What kind of madness IS this?

That tune may play well in Mexico but in the heatland of America it has nothing but sour notes.

So in actuality you are not looking at 8 million amnesties. That figure will jump to 32,000,00 or 40,000,000 before it is over. Imagine adding 38 or 40 new cities to America each having a population of 1,000,000 people. How are we going to support this? Gas! Oil! Electricity! The environment! Jobs! I believe this is the Mexicanization of America that Bush and his One-World pals want to see. Yes, with chain immigration we are talking about an exponential increase in illegal immigration on an order that fundamentally alters everything about America for the worse. Our heritage, customs, rule of law, values, way of life, system of governance...everything are going to be blown to smithereens if this monstrosity passes.

Click on the billboard.

Is this supposed to mean something? I'd say that Bush is doing a fine job at bringing America to her knees with this insane Amnesty deal all by himself.

If we need to start marching on Washington D.C. and the White House to get our message across, then that's what we will have to do." Now your talkin, let's show these news people and poll people what the real score is with the American public. Ads should be run in every newspaper in the country inviting all American families that are against our immigration policies to meet at the Mall in D.C. and bring enough supplies to stay a while.

We are in a war against terrorism and Mexico is closing ranks with the main terrorism's base in this hemisphere, Castro's Cuba. Americans and President Bush should beware!

right quick," Bush said.
"...I look forward to working with el Presidente Fox on how best to make sure our relationship is strong."<<
Wow. Bush is getting almost as good as Slick Willy at going into his "slack-jawed yokel" act while selling his snake oil.
Hmmmm....who else is running in 2004?
To: WRhine
We support Mexico and Mexico supports Castro's terrorist regime and everybody is happy. Yesterday president Fox declared that after the violation of the Mexican embassy in Havana by Castro's repressive forces in gross violation of the sovereignty of the Mexican territory, Fox feels that his ties with the Cuban tyrant are stronger than ever. And to prove it he decided to forget the $400 million dollar debt (deceivingly calling it re-structuring.) At the end the American taxpayers will foot the bill.

When I saw this thread and others, I thought I was going to be sick. Sinking feeling in stomach.
The only thing I can think of that Bush wants from Fox is oil. But would sell us out for oil? This is really bad.

It is pathetic to see a President of the United States groveling for a vote he'll never get. Illegal aliens are going to vote for the democrats, and they know it, which is why Gephart and Daschle went to Mexico.
What's worse, Bush continues to associate himself with liberal Republicans like Governor Pataki, who's a NY Riordo. And...if he keeps the nonsense up, he's going to take the Republican Congress down with him. That will mean the end of the US as we know it, because the FIRST thing a Democratic Congress will do is amnesty every single illegal alien already here.

I truly believe that the time has come for patriotic Americans to become more militant about their beliefs on the subject of illegal immigration. I don't believe in using any type of violence to get our point across to our government leaders, but a march on Washington D.C. by millions of angry Americans will certainly get President Bush's attention. Maybe then Bush will start paying more attention to us and less attention to President Fox.

This side of Bush still ticks me off.I agree. This really makes me want to pull my hair out.
It sounds like he is going to cave on this. I will be very disappointed if this bill passes. I wish Bush and his adminstration would focus on boarder patrol in CA, TX, AZ, etc.
The United States already has six million illegal aliens here already.
We need to end federal, state and local benefits (welfare)to immigrants.
If this passes it's going to open a big 'ol can of worms.
