Sounds like a modern kid with sturdy limbs. You see kids like that on lots of football teams. Again, in the case of neanderthals, given the long periods of living in proximity, inbreeding should have been very common and mixed skeletons should be all over the place; the fact that they are not was viewed as an anomaly until the recent DNA findings.
