This tiresome drunk is back to old ways of smashmouth commentary. He isn't honest, and never will be, and he's slipped into self parody, taking on the role of that "brave" inconoclast queen, Gore Vittles.

Christopher Hitchens is a columnist for Vanity Fair must be -- once again -- low on gin money. Otherwise, how does one explain his pushing a refreshment trolley through this grubby psychiatric ward of Britian a/k/a The Guardian?

An incredibly narrow range of opinion, all the way from right to centre-right, was canvassed on the show. So Chris, I guess you never caught the show?

Hitchens is a self serving dillentante who craftily balances his opinions between both Left and Right and yet still manages to call himself a Leftist. He is the embodiement of the Globalist. He is very pro american now. Why is that? Because he sees the US as the chief exporter or potential exporter of Leftist ideals.
But his hypocirsy apperent and his true colors fly for all in his support of the trial against Milosevic. Here is a man who has been denied every sort of normal western right to defend himself and yet Hitchens howls for his conviction! And yet this same, left wing conscious, trumpets every tiny mis-step in procedure for murderers on Death Row in this country. The man is a fraud.

".... On the other hand, the Nation magazine, for which I have the honour to be a columnist, reports an increase in circulation of 30,000. " Whoops, Chrissy! Sorry, that was me. Ran out of Charmin and the cheap paper they print that rag on feels almost nice against 'me bum. Even if the writing's not quite as good.
Keep Speaking Truth to Power, rummy.
