Being from Wisconsin, I can honestly say I like cheese, AND I'm a conservative. ;-)

I predict that by March 6, 2002, this will no longer be a cheese thread.

Jim:

So glad to see you treat that poster the way you did.

The nerve of him typing out a well reasoned response to what he thinks may be detrimental to your forum. The nerve!

I would have nuked him.

He deserved nothing less then that.

Well, you know how it is. I went back and reread the fair use provisions and for the life of me I cannot find the section that prohibits discussions of cheese. For a minute there, I thought cheese was only for liberals. Thanks, Jim

Houston - It is illegal to sell Limburger cheese on Sunday.
Illinois - At one time, state law made it illegal to serve apple pie in public restaurants without cheese. Also, While all cheese making requires a license, Limburger cheese making requires a master cheese maker's license.

There, we all nice and legal now?

In all seriousness, Jim.

I think you should click on Joe Everyman's screen name and look at his contributions to this forum before dismissing him as if he were a mini-disruptor.

I have not dismissed him. I just disagree with his take on this thread. Thanks, Jim

Ton of old cheese found in Egg

A ton of gone-off cheese has been found under a bridge in a western Austrian town. Police in Egg made the discovery after an anonymous tip-off.

Going by its smell, officials believe the packets of Bergkaese cheese were dumped several months ago. Police say how the cheese came to be there is a mystery. No large thefts have been reported in Austria. It has been suggested it may have been stolen in Switzerland or dumped after being deemed inferior.

Bergkaese cheese is described as 'highly-spiced' even when fresh. source
