We have 156 monthlies on the list right now, which includes the Dollar-A-Day FReepers. There are lots more than that, but not everyone signs on.

After the last FReepathon, about one third of the total number of monthlies were listed. If that percentage holds, the total might now be now be around 500 (I hope).
