Since the first rebel's yell for America's freedom was heard across this great land, Americans have yearned to keep liberty alive. Today we face numerous challenges to our Constitution and Bill of Rights. We have a choice. One is to sit back and do nothing. The other is as our President George W. Bush said at his Inauguration Speech, to become actively involved as citizens. Make our voices heard. Shout it out loud so that Congress can hear our views.

It's the pictures/graphics that are doing it. A bunch of us reloading the graphics every 2 minutes really overloads some of the weaker sites.

I got a cable modem recently and cannot believe the speed. I consistently run at 1.5 Mbs which makes my connection one of the fastest in the world. You can check your connection speed by going to any number of free speed tests on the web (just type "speed test" into a search engine or just go here).

Which ties into this fundraising thread. By switching to cable, I was able to cancel my second phone line which was $30 a month. Now Free Republic is getting that money.

Try looking at that picture, talking on the phone, doing your taxes, and watching the Mavericks play the Suns all at the same time. I've already fallen out of my freeper creeper twice! : )
