Actually............although I support Israel's right to exist, I, for one, do not like Arial Sharon's "grind them (Palestinians) into the dust" policies. Why not turn the occupied territories into the State of Palestine? Oh yeah, Sharon is busy building "settlements" there. I forgot.

If you wage war on a coutry 5 times in 50 years and vow to destroy it and all its inhabitants, you are bound to incite hate in response.

If the Arabs hadn't wanted to lose Jerusalem to non-Muslims so much, they should have thought twice before selling us out to the British and stabbing us from the back while our soldiers were defending it alongside Jewish soldiers in the Ottoman Army during WWI.

What I remember was a pre-Sharon 'discussion' of this idea while Israel was still building 'settlements' in these territories.

After Sharon got in.........well, just watch the news.

Basically, I just buy the notion that the Middle East's problems arise from one source and one source, only (namely; the Palestinians, alone).

It says, by "Palestinian Islamist journalist Khalid Amayreh". I don't consider him to be an ally of America. I see Khalid Amayreh as a self-tortured soul.

What ignorance! The US government sends Yassar Arafat and the PLO, several hundred million dollars each year. This money comes from the American taxpayers. If the Palestinian's want to continue acting like barbarians, they don't need our financial assistence any longer. That goes for the other Arab/Muslim countries too. Like Egypt. Without America's monetary help, Mubarak would be out of a job.
