What does the Quran have to say on the matter of violence with respect to Islam?
"Those who follow Muhammad are merciless for the unbelievers but kind to each other." (48:29)
"Enmity and hatred will reign between us until ye believe in Allah alone." (60:4)
"Make war on them until idolatory does not exist any longer and Allah's religion reigns universally." (8:39) (2:193)
"Fight the unbelievers in your surroundings, and let them find harshness in you." (9:123)
"Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them, capture and besiege them and prepare for them every kind of ambush." (9:5)
Is this simply referring to muslim apostates or pagans???
"And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are perverted!" (9.30)
Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely Allah, He is the Messiah, son of Marium [Mary - "Jesus is the messiah"]; and the Messiah said: O Children of Israel! serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Surely whoever associates (others) with Allah, then Allah has forbidden to him the garden, and his abode is the fire; and there shall be no helpers for the unjust. Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely Allah is the third (person) of the three; and there is no god but the one God, and if they desist not from what they say, a painful chastisement shall befall those among them who disbelieve. (5:71-73)
And there is allot more in the Hadith. What I said is true by the words in the books that you read and believe in.

"Those who follow Muhammad are merciless for the unbelievers but kind to each other." (48:29)The following refers to what we consider a mistake: Turning God in to a human, suggesting that God had sex with Mary, etc. Note that it's up to God to destroy them and not me:

(9.30)Note that the Messiah is not shunned but praised in the following passage, but the idea of God and Mary having had a baby together, and the idea that God is divisible is criticized:
Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely Allah, He is the Messiah, son of Marium [Mary - "Jesus is the messiah"]; and the Messiah said: O Children of Israel! serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Surely whoever associates (others) with Allah, then Allah has forbidden to him the garden, and his abode is the fire; and there shall be no helpers for the unjust. (5:71-73)All of which boils down to: 1)Show no mercy to those who persecute you, and try to extinguish you and your family, and 2)God is so extremely immense and all encompassing an entity that it is beyond God to have sex with humans and have children, and anyone who thinks that is reverting back to the older previous religions where God has a human form.
