Am I the only one who wonders why Palestinians are merely used as "convenience labor" throughout the Arab World and preferably kept in "Refugee Camps" for over 50 years rather than absorbed into surrounding Arab Nations?
One might draw the conclusion that the Palestinians=Kurds=Albanians=Gypsies=(you insert the group) in the global pecking order!
This is the exact quote of what an Islamic Arab told me once, not my words: "The Palestinians are the niggers of the Arab world."
He thought I would be pleased, I was not. But it did help me to understand why Arafat is working so hard to create a disaster out of Palestine. After all Arafat is Egyptian. All the Hamas, and Hizbulla leaders are from the outside Arab world. Hamas is Iran, Hizbulla is Syria. The Palestinians are nothing but cattle to them, useful only in the slaughter and their actions prove it. Arafat could have had every thing he promised the Palestinians handed to him on a silver platter. Even the Palestinians were shocked when Arafat turned down Baraks offer. Most Palestinians have no education and are easily deceived by the "Intifadda". They are a VERY emotional people, they think with their hearts, not their heads. It makes them very easy to manipulate.
Before the war, I found the Palestinians delightful people, now I risk my life to talk to them. It is all so very sad. But a man is responsible for his actions, the leaders for leading into the pit. The Palestinians for digging it. Both will reap the fruit of their actions.
