It's the one and only circumstance I can think of, where I'm glad to be on the left coast. When I first moved here I purposefully stayed on eastern time for awhile. I couldn't stand the idea of so much happening in the country three hours "before" me. heh

Then I stand corrected indeed . I do so dislike being a sanguine sometimes -) . I hopped from coast to coast 10 years ago . you realise that I admitted to confusing the time zones in public .. I'm going to bed !
