Yeah, I was going to mention this too. All the dog bites we used to get in the ER were from pit bulls and rottweillers. Those two breeds just make me nervous. They seem unpredictable. How about a nice golden retriever? :)

I was told by a dog trainer that retrievers especially golden's instinctively do not bite as they are bred to retrieve birds in their mouths...they sometimes can be trained to bite but it is usually their stance and growl and bark that are their weapons....they are usually great dogs around children, two of mine are now playing at Rainbow Bridge.....
