CAUSE OF GIRL'S DEATH COULD REMAIN MYSTERY

Police say they may never know how Danielle van Dam died, or when. The seven-year-old girl disappeared from her San Diego home February first. Authorities are now confirming that a child's body found by volunteer searchers Wednesday is that of the missing child. The district attorney says an autopsy performed confirmed her identity yesterday. The identification was made through dental records because of the condition of the body. Medical examiners are trying to determine the cause of death, but Police Chief Dave Bejerano says it's possible that we'll never know how, or when she was killed. A neighbor has been charged with kidnapping and murdering her. Authorities say they found the girl's blood on his clothing and in his motor home. He has pleaded innocent.

Prisoners harrass Westerfield
David Westerfield, the man accused of kidnapping and murdering Danielle van Dam, received a rude awakening when he was booked into jail last week. The suspected pedophile was greeted with shouted threats and curses and is being held in isolation.

I have found USENET postings by Damon van Dam going back 10 years, but nothing of a sexual nature. It would be interesting to contact former neighbors in Texas where they used to live. I assume that if they used the internet to find sexual contacts they are not using their real names and phone numbers. I searched under their current phone numbers but could not find anything. I think their MO is now word of mouth or using Brenda as an advance person in local hang outs.

About Damon VD, I can't put my finger on it but there is something about that man that I do not like. There is such a coldness there that even Westerfield does not possess. This case is getting more and more interesting each day.

Did you interview both these men to test their "coldness" meters? How much coldness do both of these guys "possess"? Is Westerfield just mildly cold as opposed to the freezing Damon? That's what I heard. They did this little lead-in to throw listeners off first. They said something like, "LEO found child pornography in DW's home and also gay porn was found (brief pause) in the van Dam home."

I don't know their source or the degree of credibility, but that's what they said.
