You see, this is why I hate politics and almost just tune it out completely.

Washington is all about poll numbers and which head of uber party hydra stands to benefit over this paticular issue or that. The American public is almost never refered to in a way that's the least bit sincere.

Look at CFR.. Instead of hearing about it's Constitutional problems "experts" like Fred Barnes are doing a point by point on which of the two parties will benefit.

It's really dissapointing and may be a key reason why the idea of Term Limits has such broad appeal to Republicans and Democrats alike.

If you want term limits (as do I), the best way to achieve them is to reduce the Democrat party to a pitiful rump of itself in the next three elections (2002, 2004, 2006).

Perhaps, this will force the few remaining Democrats to rearrange their priorities, cleanse themselves of their moronic liberalism...and embrace term limits as a route back to power.
