Actually, here in Houston, it's being used as a reason to BLAME him for the deaths of the children and paint AY as a victim of her fundamentalist husband. It takes 2 to tango. AY's situation was grave, but if a man had done the same thing it wouldn't matter if he suffered from mental illness or not he'd be toast.

Well, and I'm not excusing AY, but hubby wanted them all to live on a school bus, while he was making $85k a year, and they did. That's just weird and sick.
