(1) Most of the dogs who have this procedure are the small yappy breeds because people are too lazy to train the dog; (2) this is not a procedure that most vets are happy to perform;

The distribution of dogs that have a vocal cordectomy (debarking) spreads across dog sizes and breeds in a fairly uniform fashion. Additionally, if a DVM is unhappy in performing this procedure, they can object to do so, citing a professional objection.
