I look at people who have such a cynical, amoral attitude toward marriage and family, and who carry on drug fueled orgies in their home while their child is being snatched,

HMMMM...Did the cops find something like "hold orgy whild daughter is kidnapped and murdered" pencilled in on their calendar?

and wonder if they can even have normal feelings toward their children.

I don't know much about "amoral",but I DO know it is immmoral to charge/accuse parents of doing something like this without having the slightest trace of evidence.

The majority of posters on this thread seem to think that the "sins of the parents" were paid for by their daughter. A little girl was murdered and some here are using it as an opportunity to bash her parent's lifestyle. Sad.

Some people have entirely too much time on their hands. I pray to God none of these accusers ever have to file a missing person report. They are so focused on gossip and rumors that they are missing the big picture here. It doesn't appear to me that the police department or the search and rescue teams held the parents in contempt. They were with the parents..they've spoken to the parents. THEY KNOW. If the parents are as nasty as portrayed by the accusers, the police department and search/rescuers never treated them as such.
