As it happened, Eve couldn't resist the temptation of the 'fruitcake'. When God recognized what had happened, he called Adam to account, and the first liberal came into being. He said that it wasn't his fault.
Thus ended the first and best welfare state man has ever known. And, rather than returning to God, liberal man has been trying to recreate the goodness of that 'original state' in one of his own.('Political Controversy', the original PC was born)
Had FreeRepublic been there to counter the 'lies' of the Garden Gazette, Eve most likely would have known the 'higher quality' of truth and Cain might have been Abel."
